In order to run Windows 2008 Terminal Server applications using Remoteapp your computer must meet the following requirements:
Windows XP

Ideally all Windows XP computers should have Service Pack 3 installed. This is available from the Microsoft download site using the following URL:

If you are unable to install Service Pack 3 then you need to download and install the latest version of the remote desktop client. This is available here:

To take advantage of the new printing functionality you need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SP1 or later. This is a requirement of all Windows XP computers. The current version is available as a download here:

Windows Vista

Ideally all Windows Vista computers should have Service Pack 1 installed. To find out what service pack you have installed on your Windows Vista Computer please refer to the following KB article:

If you computer already has Service Pack 1 installed then you don’t need to do anything else.
