Unable to open links in e-mail messages or Office documents

When you try to click a link in an email in Microsoft Outlook XP or Microsoft Outlook 2003, you get the following error:

"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator"

The reason for this problem is because Internet Explorer is no longer configured as the default browser. To change the default browser back to Internet Explorer:

1. Open internet Explorer

2. Click Tools, Internet Options

3. Click Programs

4. Click Make Default in the Default Web Browser section.

5. Tick the box Tell me if internet explorer is not the default browser
